Redknapp has been impressed by the Netherlands international’s performances for Newcastle this season.
Redknapp is looking to bring in a new goalkeeper, who could become the club’s long-term number one.
A source close to Spurs told the Evening Chronicle: “Tim’s form has been outstanding this season and he has caught the eye of Tottenham.
“They are looking for new blood in the goalkeeper department.
“Tim is one of a number of younger goalkeepers they have in mind.”
