Liverpool face title rivals Manchester City on Sunday in a match both sides will be desperate to win.

Their meeting at Anfield last season ended in a 1-0 win to Liverpool, while their meeting at the Etihad in November ended in a 1-1 draw.

Sutton’s prediction for the match is a 2-1 win to Liverpool . You will get odds around 10.00 on that betting tips if you are into betting on football.

“City are the Premier League champions, European champions and world champions… so who is going to write them off? I am. They are going to lose,” BBC Sport football expert Chris Sutton said.

“I have a hunch that, with Liverpool being at home, they will have the slight edge and Mohamed Salah’s return from injury could make the difference for them in a very tight game.

“I will probably look stupid at full-time but I am going with ‘darling’ Darwin Nunez to score and the Reds to win.”
