Tevez free to join Man Utd

Kia Joorabchian will pay West Ham £2million, while he will pocket £10million from the deal, says The Sun.

The Argentine striker has agreed a two-year loan deal with Manchester United, with a further three-year option.

A friend of Tevez told The Sun: “Carlos has been talking at length to Kia because he wanted the mess sorted out to everyone’s benefit.

“He loved playing for West Ham and will never forget the way the fans treated him. Carlos has persuaded Kia to pay them £2m to release him.

“He feared the court case could drag on and damage his career while he waited for the legal wrangles to be sorted out.

“On top of that, Carlos has not been getting any wages and his fitness levels dropped while he was out of the game.

“Kia put the player before business considerations even though it has cost him a substantial sum of money.

“He wants to see Tevez get on with his career and put all of this behind him.”
