The 26-year-old has been quater as saying that he would consider retiring if he won the World Cup with Argentina this summer.
“I’m here for the long term,” he said. “Of course, if we do win the World Cup with Argentina that would be fabulous.
“But when I came here last summer I was offered the big project, and I am planning to be here for the long term.”
