Former Celtic and Rangers star Johnston is keen to bring the Celtic skipper to the club on August 5, as their star signing.
Director of business operations Paul Beirne said: “It is difficult to talk about players that are under contract with other clubs but we’d love to see Neil Lennon added to Mo’s squad.”
