The Russian internaitonal has a partially torn ankle ligament and will miss the derby clash with Arsenal as well as the matches against Stoke and Bolton.
Pav suffered the injury during the 1-0 home defeat by Hull on Sunday.
A Spurs spokesman confirmed: “Roman will continue to undergo treatment with the specialists but will be unfit to play for at least three weeks.”
Pavlyuchenko joined Spurs for £13.2million in the summer.
