The Spurs boss insists that the club do want to finish fifth and qualify directly, but if they came sixth they could go into the qualifiers as the best non-European placed team in the fair play league.
“We don’t want to be in the fair play thing because we’d be back playing in June, so even our pre-season would get messed up. We’re off to South Africa in the summer and I don’t know what would happen with that.”
