United legend agrees Thailand role

Robson, who has agreed a four-year deal, will replace Peter Reid who quit the job to become the assistant manager at Stoke.

“He’s agreed to become coach, he’s very happy with what we’ve offered him,” said Thai FA chief Worawi Makudi.

“It’s a four-year deal. The plan is he’ll coach Thailand for the Asian Cup, the Olympics and hopefully the World Cup too.”
