Van der Vaart has fallen out with Real Madrid chief Juande Ramos and could be interested in leaving the club should his place in the Holland squad be threatened.
Van der Vaart told The Sun: “It’s flattering when someone like Guus Hiddink is interested as he is one of the best. If my World Cup selection is threatened I must think about a transfer.”
