Vieira could leave Inter

The 33-year-old was expected to leave Inter in the summer, but decided to stay after a chat with coach Jose Mourinho.

“The discussion with Mourinho left me thinking that it was the right decision [to stay]. Instead today the situation is more complicated because I don’t play,” Vieira told L’Equipe.

“I’ll continue working. I don’t want to arrive at a decision before December. If things don’t change then I will make a decision. I could leave in January.

“I have spoken with Domenech. My exclusion doesn’t depend on the fact that I don’t deserve a place in the national team, but on the fact that I don’t play.

“I need rhythm and games at the highest level. There are still games to play and the door is still open. I feel fine. I am training. But the most important thing is to play,” Vieira concluded.
