Villanueva’s parent club has agreed a deal with the Dubai-based outfit.
A statement from Chilean club Audax Italiano read: “Carlos Villanueva will continue his career in the United Arab Emirates after an agreement was reached with Al Shabab which will be formalised in the coming days.”
Villanueva has agreed a four-year deal worth around £3.29million, according to reports.
