The 23-year-old has failed to make an impact at Villarreal since joining the club from Velez Sarsfield in the summer of 2008.
“The priority is Boca Juniors. I have several other offers, but my agent informed me that there is this possibility and I would love to play for Boca,” the midfielder was quoted as saying by Radio La Red.
