Villarreal coach not disappointed with defeat

The Spanish side had a man sent off in the first-half of the game.

“I am not pleased with the defeat but I am relaxed with the way we played,” he told AS.

“It was a game in which we were superiors to start with, where we had three or fours chances early on, but they took advantage by scoring a goal in a doubtful move and then the sending off changed the game.”

He added: “I think the teams that could play us as group winners would be difficult, just the same as when we finish second.

“It is not a problem to be first or second because all the teams who qualify are quality.”
