Reports have claimed that the Spanish side are keen to bring in Saviola as a replacement for Giuseppe Rossi, who has been ruled out for six months with a knee injury.
When asked about Saviola, Roig said: “We have no interest in him.
“Villarreal have a squad of 32 players and we cannot sign all the players that the press have been talking about.”
