Club chairman Werner Gegenbauer says the Ukraine international, who is on loan from Liverpool, will remain in the German capital if Hertha manage a top three finish.
Gegenbauer told SID: “We are not able to secure the transfer without raising extra money.
“And we will only have extra money if we secure a Champions League spot.”
