The 20-year-old is currently on loan at Scottish giants Rangers for the season.
Weiss said: “City had offers from clubs wanting to buy me in the summer.
“I hope that the fact they turned them all down suggests I have a future back in Manchester.
“In the summer I will still have two years left on my contract at City and I want to go back.”
