Wenger’s comments were twisted, he explained, and said that he had no plans to leave, and that he would only do so if he did not perform well enough in his job.
“It was a conversation about if I did not do well enough”, Wenger told Sky Sports.
“I said that’s the only way I would consider, if I was below what is expected at the club.
“[Arsenal is] the club of my life and I’m completely committed to my contract.”
