Reports earlier this month suggested Schalke were interested in the Bosnian international.
“I would love to wear the shirt of Schalke. They’re one of the biggest clubs in Germany and head coach Felix Magath is a great manager,” said Misimovic to German newspaper Bild.
But Misimovic does not expect to leave Wolfsburg.
He said: “My current Wolfsburg contract runs until the summer of 2013 and I don’t think the club are interested in selling me.”
