“He’s Chelsea’s player and it’s up to Chelsea what they do with him,” McCarthy told Sky Sports News.
“Everybody knows I like him, everybody knows I think he’s a really good player and he did really well for us.
“We’ll see. It’s up to Chelsea what they do with their players, not me.”
