Zola is impressed with Green’s recent fine form.
“I have told Robert that if he continues to perform the way he is, he will be back in the England squad,” said Zola.
“The England manager Capello knows what is the right thing to do, and Green knows he must continue to perform every week like he is now, and then he will be rewarded.
“I am delighted with Robert. He is looking very comfortable now. He was getting some stick but now he is getting the rewards he deserves.
“He is working very hard during the week and I am very pleased with him.”
