Italian to snub Premier League move

Palermo striker Fabrizio Miccoli is expected to reject a move to the English Premiership with Birmingham reportedly interested in his services.

Miccoli’s future has been under increased speculation in recent times however it now seems like the former Fiorentina hit man is ready to stay in Serie A.

“Fabrizio will remain with us” Palermo manager Maurizio Zamparini told reterete24.it.

“Yesterday I met Miccoli, and I reiterated the esteem and confidence the club holds him in. He was a bit worried after he suffered a knee injury. But I told him to stay because we consider him a key part of the project.”
