Man Utd star quits international football

Manchester United and Bulgaria star Dimitar Berbatov has decided to retire from international football.

The 29-year-old is Bulgaria’s all-time leading goalscorer with 48 goals.

“It was a difficult decision but sometimes we have to take difficult decisions,” he said.

“I came to the decision that as of now I have retired from the national team.

“It wasn’t a decision I took lightly and I have reconsidered several times.

“Everything has a beginning and an end and that is today.”
