The Sunday Mirror reports that Redknapp is keen to strengthen his defensive options as they prepare for next season’s Champions League.
Cahill is reportedly available for around £15million, but Redknapp is prepared to include players as part of a deal for the defender.
The 24-year-old is also being linked with a move to Arsenal.
