The Blues boss has been told to cut costs at Stamford Bridge and will shop in the bargain basement for new players in January.
A Blues insider told News of the World: “All three are similar players who would give Chelsea a totally different option and that’s something we desperately need.
“Okay, they might not score a lot of goals themselves but they are all a handful and can create havoc in any defence.
“The fact is, the days of big spending are over . . . and they won’t be back for a while.”
