Neville struggled against John Carew in the start of the game with Villa and swapped positions with John O’Shea.
“Villa did really well throughout the game and made things difficult for us,” Neville said.
“I struggled physically in the first half having not played for a couple of months and I found it really tough.
“But I got a lot better as the game went on.”
