Pique has been a hit at Camp Nou since returning from Manchester United and the defender believes Fabregas believes Fabregas could soon return to the club as well.
“Cesc will end up wearing the Blaugrana shirt one day, I’ve always said that,” Pique affirmed to Sport.
“I’m sure that the canterano class of ’87 will find themselves together. Cesc prefers to keep his opinion to himself.”
He added: “I’d hate to see him at Real Madrid and I don’t think it will happen. In football, you can’t use the word impossible, but I don’t believe it will occur.”
