Pepe sustained he injury in Real’s 3-2 victory over Valencia on Saturday evening.
The Portuguese defender was forced off just before half-time and the extent of the injury was confirmed today.
Spanish newspaper AS says Real Madrid are now considering bringing in a replacement for Pepe in the January transfer window.
