England boss Fabio Capello replaced Terry with Rio Ferdinand as skipper for the Three Liones, following a meeting at Wembley today.
In a short statement released this afternoon, Terry said: “I fully respect Fabio Capello’s decision.
“I will continue to give everything for England.”
