Exclusive: Man Utd keeping tabs on Tromso star

The 20-year-old defensive midfielder has been impressive for Norwegian side Tromso this season and the Premier League giants are tracking his progress.

Tromso have previously confirmed that Arsenal have expressed an interest in the youngster and the Gunners’ chief scout Steve Rowley wathced him in action earlier this week.

Tromso chief Morten Kraemer told VG earlier this month: “There were several clubs here today, they have been here to see a match.

“There will be no meetings. There is no problem for us, they’re welcome to make checks. Kara can talk with his own agents and advisers.

“We have nothing to do with just that.”

Mbodj is reportedly available for around £3million.
