Torres will play for Spain against England at Old Trafford tomorrow night
He said: “There are people that will talk about these things, but it has never affected me because I have never played for Manchester United.
“I have been linked with a move to England a lot in recent years and it is flattering that such big clubs have shown an interest in me.
“Old Trafford is a great stadium and we are playing against a very strong team.”
