Fabregas and goalkeeper Szczesny did both suffer injuries against Barcelona in midweek.
The Gunners face United in the FA Cup quarter-final on Saturday.
“He will be out maybe for the next two games,” Wenger said of Fabregas.
“He is out for a while,” Wenger said of Szczesny.
