The Russian outfit is reportedly ready to make a January move for the Bulgarian striker.
The Mirror reports that Anzhi have been in talks with Berbatov’s agent Emil Danchev and are prepared to offer the striker a £7.5million a year deal. Berbatov is reportedly holding out for £12million.
“We would be interested when Anzhi make a concrete offer,” Berbatov’s agent Danchev is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.
“We will sit down with Dimitar and ponder this.
“I don’t know if Dimitar is happy in Manchester. He plays, then he just sits on the bench.”
Anzhi are reportedly ready to make a £15million bid for the striker who joined United in a £30million deal in 2008.
