Celtic and Middlesbrough are believed to be interested to sign the Swiss international, who will leave Borussia because of a dispute with coach Jos Luhukay.
Degen’s contract with Borussia expires in 2009.
The 24-year-old told Kicker: “I will not confirm names of prospective clubs. I look at all the offers before deciding where to go.”
