Nottingham Forest and Sunderland are monitoring Palmeiras winger Riquelme Fillipi as they assess potential attacking additions.

The Premier League pair have placed the Brazilian prospect on their radar, but neither has committed to making an offer.

Ontheminute.com understands that both clubs are gathering information on the 19-year-old before the summer window closes. Palmeiras are well protected, with Fillipi secured on a long-term contract until December 2029.

The right-footed attacker normally operates from the left, allowing him to drive inside and threaten goal. He scored 22 times in 42 appearances for Palmeiras Under-20s during 2025, highlighting his productivity at academy level.

Fillipi has since gained senior exposure and remains one of the club’s notable young talents. His pace, movement and ability to cover either wing could appeal to English recruiters.

Forest and Sunderland must now decide whether to test Palmeiras with a formal proposal. Any late approach would represent a long-term investment rather than a guaranteed immediate first-team solution.
