Costacurta retired from AC Milan in 2007 and spent a stint as a second assistant to then boss, Carlo Ancelotti.
“My relationship with Milan has always been excellent, so much so that I went to see the game against Roma, and came back with the squad,” he told Il Sole 24 Ore.
“Lets say that my dream is to be Leonardo’s successor.”
