The Argentina international has been linked with a move to both Chelsea and Manchester United this summer.
Aguero scored in the 3-2 win over Panathinaikos in the Champions League play-off.
“I’ve always said I wanted to stay at Atletico and this is what has happened,” said Aguero.
“I am very happy for the goal, but especially for the triumph.”
