The Frenchman says Giggs is his player of the decade and admits he is impressed by the goal the Welshman scored in the 1999 FA Cup semi-final replay against Arsenal.
Wenger told the Telegraph: “Ryan Giggs is my Premier League player of the decade because he combined style with winning. But his goal in the 1999 semi-final still hurts me.”
Giggs recently won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
