Wenger commented on the revelation of his side’s 5-1 win over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Tuesday.
He told Sky Sports: “It came to me as a complete surprise, in this period of the season.
“But it is very difficult to talk about it because we don’t really know what has happened.”
