Arsenal are reportedly lining up a massive £85.5 million bid for Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres in the summer transfer window.

According to online outlet Football Transfers, the 25-year-old Swedish international has captivated the Gunners with his remarkable versatility and goal-scoring prowess.

Known for his ability to adeptly lead the line and contribute from the wings, Gyokeres has amassed an impressive tally of 33 goals and 12 assists across 37 appearances for Sporting this season, outshining even the elite Erling Haaland in terms of productivity.

Sporting could be bypassed with a €100m release clause activation, signaling Arsenal’s readiness to invest heavily in a player who perfectly aligns with Mikel Arteta’s tactical blueprint.

Last summer, Arsenal demonstrated their financial commitment by securing Declan Rice for a record fee, hinting at a potential blockbuster move for Gyokeres.

Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle United and Manchester United have also been linked with Sporting Lisbon star Gyokeres.
