Begiristain has warned the Ivory Coast international’s agent Dimitri Seluk about discussin the player in the media.
“I have contacted the agent and our position is clear,” Begiristain told the Spanish media.
“The most important thing is Toure.
“I am satisfied with his performances and the dialogue between coach and player. They must be the protagonists.
“In football, interviews are normal for the players, but it is unusual to hear interviews with the agents.
“He understood everything.”
Toure has been linked with Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea in recent weeks.
