Rijkaard said: “Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese from Manchester United, appeals a lot to me.
“But he is a subject that isn’t in my thoughts at the moment.
“Before signing any new player, you must consider the needs of the team and whether the player in question can improve us.”
