The Daily Mail reports that Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo is keen to bring in Shaw to start his massive rebuilding job at Stamford Bridge.
The 17-year-old made his first-team debut in the FA Cup at Millwall last season.
Southampton are keen to keep Shaw at the club, following their promotion to the Premier League.
