The 17-year-old has a contract with Gremio that keeps him at the club until 2011.
But it is believed the Brazilian side would be interested in selling the youngster for just around £3.6million.
“My dream is to play in Europe and I hope that will be possible,” said Brenan.
“During the tournament in Spain I have spoken to a number of agents, but a move depends on my agent and Gremio.
“I am happy with how things are and I do not expect anything to happen for a few months.
“A move to Europe could happen over the summer. I am ambitious and I will not rule anything out.”
