Chimbonda has fallen out with Sunderland boss Roy Keane and reports have suggested the Frenchman is ready to leave the club.
“There’s been no contact from Lyon,” Willie McKay told The Sun.
“Roy Keane picks the team but Pascal’s quite happy at Sunderland and I believe he’ll stay in the Premier League.”
