The Italian said: “I’m happy for Craig. I hope he will have a fantastic season. It’s his choice.
“In Cardiff, there is his home and his family.
“I don’t know what his options were. You would have to ask Craig.
“I don’t know if he will play for me again – in football anything can happen.”
