Everton boss Moyes: Vaughan and Anichebe will be treated with kid gloves

He told evertonTV: “We have been saying for a while we believe we have two up and coming centre-forwards who will keep everybody on their toes.

“They are showing that and proving it. James has missed an awful lot of football through injury but he is getting fitter and they are two boys who, hopefully, with the right progression will make it. They will not be playing all the time for the first team because they are not ready to do that but they are certainly keeping the boys in the first team on their toes.

“They have had their opportunities coming off the bench this season. They just need to be patient and await their chances but Victor has been involved in virtually every game this season so he should see that as an unbelievable achievement for one so long and he should be delighted with that.”
