Evra was one of the main individuals responsible for the French team’s decision to strike during the tournament, for which he served a five match ban. French Minister of Sport Chantal Jouanno ruled though that he should not be picked once his ban finished, and so he misses out.
Koscielny is joined by team mates Gael Clichy, Bacary Sagna and Abou Diaby, though Samir Nasri misses out through injury. Frank Ribery is also injured, whilst Jeremy Toulalan and Dimitri Payet both were omitted from the squad.
