Cleverley sustained the injury during United’s 5-0 win at Bolton and has spent the last six weeks on the sidelines.
The United youngster returned to training on Friday, according to Ontheminute.com sources at the club.
Cleverley could feature among the substitutes for the clash with rivals Manchester City on Sunday.
