Ferdinand confident ahead of United clash

Ferdinand believes Spurs can become the first team in nearly 20 years to retain the trophy.

“It is a one off game and people raise their games for occasions like this, and that is all we can hope for,” Ferdinand told Sky Sports News.

“If our boys play to their true potential and they all give 100 per cent, then we have a great chance of beating Manchester United.

“It is a great occasion everyone wants to play in the final and everyone wants to play at Wembley so it is up to the players to put their best foot forward.”
