The 26-year-old had a shaky display in the Manchester derby last week and was fault in City’s first goal at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Tomasz Kuszczak was given a opportunity in goal against Wolves in the Carling Cup in midweek.
“It was a good opportunity for Tomasz to play on Wednesday but Ben will play tomorrow,” Ferguson confirmed.
“Ben has not had a lot of game experience but he will be OK.”
